Free Printable Christmas Wall Art (5 Cozy Designs)

The fastest way to make a room feel like Christmas isn’t more decorations. It’s swapping what’s on the walls. One framed print above the mantel does more than a box of ornaments, and it takes about two minutes.

So here are five free printable Christmas wall art designs, made in the same cozy, budget-friendly spirit as everything else here. Print them at home, slip them into frames you already own, and your walls are ready for the season. All five come in one free download.

The 5 Free Christmas Prints

1. Evergreen Bouquet

A loose watercolor bundle of pine, cedar, eucalyptus and winterberries tied with a terracotta ribbon. Quiet, botanical, and easy to leave up from late November until the snow melts.

2. Merry & Bright Wreath

The one with words. A watercolor wreath with dried oranges and pinecones around a simple “Merry & Bright.” Perfect for an entryway, where it’s the first thing guests see.

3. Vintage Snowy Village

The showstopper. A soft antique-style painting of cottages glowing in the snow at dusk. It looks like a thrift-store treasure and carries an entire wall on its own, especially above a mantel.

4. Mid-Century Christmas Trees

For modern spaces: a little forest of geometric trees in terracotta, mustard, sage and deep green. Playful without being kitschy, and great in a kid’s room or a home office.

5. Vintage Holly & Citrus

An old-fashioned botanical engraving of holly, winter oranges, cinnamon and star anise on aged paper. It pairs beautifully with the evergreen bouquet as a set of two.

How to Print Them So They Look Store-Bought

Use heavy matte paper. Matte cardstock (around 65–110 lb) makes the biggest difference. Regular printer paper looks flat; cardstock looks like a real art print.

Print at actual size. In your print settings, choose “Actual size” or 100%, never “Fit to page.” Each design is a true 8×10.

Pick “Best” quality. Your printer’s photo or best setting gives the richest greens and the softest watercolor edges.

No color printer? Any print shop or pharmacy photo counter can print the PDF pages for a few dollars, and they can enlarge them to 11×14.

4 Ways to Style Your Prints

Above the Mantel

One large frame, centered, with garland and candlesticks below. The snowy village was made for this spot. Hang the frame so its bottom edge sits about 15–25 cm above the mantel.

A Christmas Gallery Wall

Three matching frames in a row above the sofa: the bouquet, the wreath and the holly print. Matching frames and even spacing (about 5 cm apart) are what make it look intentional.

Leaning on a Sideboard

No nails needed. Lean a frame against the wall and layer candlesticks, a small vase of greenery and a wrapped gift around it. Renters, this one is for you.

A Pair Above the Bed

Two botanical prints side by side bring the season into the bedroom gently, without a single ornament. Pair them with a tartan throw and warm lamp light.

Frames on a Budget

You probably already own frames that work. Swap out what’s in them for the season, then switch back in January. If you’re buying, 8×10 frames are the most common size everywhere: thrift stores, dollar stores and big-box shops all carry them. For a more expensive look, put the 8×10 print in an 11×14 frame with a mat; the white border around the art is what makes it look gallery-worthy.

Make It a Gift

A framed print is one of the best gifts you can give for almost nothing. An 8×10 frame, one print, a sheet of kraft paper and some baker’s twine: that’s a thoughtful hostess or teacher gift for under $10. (More ideas in our 20 thoughtful gifts under $25.)

Christmas Wall Art Questions, Answered

Are these really free? Yes. Download, print and frame them for your own home, or give them as gifts. Please don’t sell them or share the file itself; send friends a link to this page instead.

What size are the prints? Each is 8×10 inches on US Letter paper. Trim the white border and they fit any standard 8×10 frame.

Can I print them bigger? They’re high resolution, so 11×14 works well at a print shop.
